One of my favorite books of all time was introduced to me by one of the patients I had the privilege of getting to know before cancer took her: Le Petit Prince.
She, being a French teacher, would say it with a French accent, which I absolutely adored. After all, I spent many a Saturday afternoon for years in the classrooms of Alliance Francaise in the basement of a run down building in Hong Kong.
We used to read together the children's version of the book
"The Three Questions", those being:
"When is the right time to begin everything?",
"Who are the most important people to listen to?",
and "What is the most important thing to do at any given time?"
